Designed by … architects and interior designer, Yvette Chaix, it features numerous bespoke design elements, including this custom extra wide and long plank floor, made from the finest premium white oak. The boards were first bleached to remove any reddish tones and then fumed to add richness to the color, before undergoing a multi-part staining process that introduced low-lights into the finish to create a sense of depth and subtle variation in color, which is atypical for floors with a darker finish.
