Montaña De ORo
In the headlands overlooking Morro Bay, California, this large hillside home was extensively remodeled to lend it a more airy character, in keeping with the stunning 270 degree views. Developed in Los Angeles in conjunction with KHLA Hardwood, this custom flooring project used a soft stain and light lacquer top coat over oversized rustic French oak planks finished with cotton-mill texture to lend it a subtle old world charm. The color is lightly honeyed, like the traditional appearance of a European fumed oak floor.
