This drum was made by Tomas Bisin from the village of Atsj, Asmat Tribe, West Papua. Made of wood, monitor lizard skin and rattan. The handle depicts a hornbill, ancestor figure. The body motif consists of worm or snake tracks and the roots of trees. Coll. 2000.
